Our Wine List

Il Capriccio’s wine collection is a result of a twenty-five year journey by former Wine Director, Jeannie Rogers, on which we continue to build. We have many treasures to be had that can appeal to both old and new wine palates. The wines will please both French and American wine lovers, but with an Italian twist.  And our pricing is moderate, by comparison.

Il Capriccio’s cellar is now overseen by Wine Director Angelo Falcone who was born and raised in the Piedmont region. He studied under Jeannie Rogers for six years before. From there, he has been the wine steward at Tomasso Trattoria, a salesman at Lower Falls Wine Company, and a vineyard manager in Tuscany. He has graduated from the Wine & Spirits Educational Trust.

2007 Speri Valpolicella Clissico Superiore Ripasso - 90 points, Wine Enthusiast

Both of these wines will be featured at the "Two Gentlement from Verona" wine dinner on March 22nd, along with six other wines from these two talented winemakers.
